So today I started reading a book about web design and found out it's really not that difficult after all.
I thought I'd start off using my trusty text editor - can you tell?! - mainly just for the fun of pretending I was here at the beginning when this was how everybody had to do it.
So here I am! Bear with me, because I've only got as far as chapter 7 in Creating a Web Site: The Missing Manual, which means I haven't got to the bits about links and frames and stuff yet. In fact what you're looking at is pretty much the sum total of what I managed to learn on the train to Reading and back today. But how cool is this: I'm a web designer!
